DARING HIGHWAY ROBBERY

Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, Nov. 17. The biggest highway robbery during recent years occurred in NorthWest Cork. Masked thieves, wearing clothes inside out and bags tied over their boots, held up two bank managers going to a fair and robbed them of eighteen thousand sterling. The managers were armed with revolvers, but were gagged and tied up to the wheels of a cart, while the highwaymen emptied the moneybags and escaped.
