BLANKET CLEANING CASE.

A LAUNDRY FINED. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 17. At the Magistrate’s Court this morning Mr McCarthy, S. M., gave his decision in a case against brown’s Highbury Laundry, concerning a breach of contract entered into With the Crown in regard to cleaning blankets on the transport Pakeha, and the case against Henry Street, manager of the Company, charged with aiding and abetting in breaking the contract. The Company was fined £IOO and costs and Street £SO and costs. Leave to appeal was granted.
