THE WANGANUI SEAT, A Labour Party t electioneering rally is advertised to be held at Maria Place to-night at 7.15, when local speakers will forward the Party interests- and the candidature of Lewis Mcllvride. % RANGITIKEI SEAT. Mr Glen commences his campaign on Monday, at Upokongaro, when the electors will have placed before them a clear exposition of the policy of the reform Party. Mr Glen will then go right through the Rangitikei district electorate addressing the electors. See advt. for dates. MR BRADY AT KAITOKE. Mr Brady, Labour candidate for the Rangitikei seat, addressed a largo and enthusiastic meeting at Kaitoke last evening. His address was .on similar lines to his previous ones. He received a very attentive hearing, being frequently applauded. At the conclusion he received a hearty vote of thanks and promised large support from the Kaitoke electors. Mr Brown was in the chair. Mr Brady, Labour candidate for the Rangitikei seat, will address the Makirikiri electors to-night. THE PAHIATUA SEAT. (Per United Press Association.) DANNEYIRKE, Nov. 14. Mr R. B. Ross, the Liberal candidate for the Pahiatua seat, addressed a meeting of the electors at Dannevirke. He declared himself a supporter of the Liberal Party, reserving the right, as he always had done, to vote against it if its policy conflicted with the pledges he had given to the people in his manifesto or from the public platform. He declared that the Liberal Party was the people’s party, dominated only by the desire to do justice to all. The candidate advocated more provision, for the settlement of soldiers, also the equalisation of land values, where land has been acquired for soldiers’ settlement. He adversely criticised Mr Massey’s land settlement policy. He advocated State shipping and State accident insurance. He approved of Sir Joseph Ward’s housing scheme, advocated better salaries and conditions for teachers, favoured the reinstatement of the Cadet system leading up to Territorials, and urged economy and retrenchment in military matters. He was accorded a vote of thanks. THE BULLER SEAT.WESTPORT, November 14. Mr D. 0. O’Brien opened the Bullet election campaign at Waimaugaroa last evening. He declared himself in support with Sir Joseph Ward’s Liberal Party. He dealt exhaustively with the politics of the day. He got a good reception and a splendid vote. His opponent, Mr Holland, speaks at Westport next Thursday.
