This is another link in the national highway between Ongarue and Tekoufa, estab 7 listing connection with tlie West Taupo country. At the Theatre Eoyal, Mr Jennings was farewelled at a banquet by the citizens prior to standing for his new electorate, Wartomo. The Mayor and leading citizens spoke of the work done by the member in the fifteen years' representation of his electorate, which was included in it lUhree Education Boards' districts. The member had assisted to establish seventy-six schools.
