FATHER O'DONNELL'S CASE.

HANDED OVER TO THE MILITARY.

Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Received October 27, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, October 25.

Three judges of the Irish King’s Bench refused a Habeas Corpus application in the O’Donnell case. The Chief Justice said that the detention was not illegal. He was glad that O’Donnell would he handed over to his own unit, and added, that if the Officer Commanding the Australians considered a courtmartial was necessary, the military authorities would pay the expenses of witnesses for the defence.
