FIRE AT TAUMARUNUI.
BRICK AND TILE WORKS SERIOUSLY DAMAGED. (Per United Press Association.) - TAUMARUNUI, October 24. There was a blaze early this morning at the Roofing-tile and Brick Company’s factory on tho Taumaruuui-Maitapuna Road. The fire was first noticed about one o’clock, when the building was blazing furiously. Six kilns and the drying room were destroyed, but the machinery in the manufacturing department was saved by the brigade’s strenuous efforts. The damage is estimated at £3500,
