SCENE IN COURT.

INCIDENT AT HAMILTON

(Per United Press Association.) HAMILTON, July 29. There was a scene in the Magistrate's Court. Mr Gillies was asking a' client certain questions, when Magistrate Burton said he could not allow leading questions. Mr Gill'es put the questions in another way. The Magistrate held that the evidence was inadmissable. Mr Gillies, saying “Very well, I will leave the Court,” hurriedly left the Court, his client following The Magistrate said he did not care to give judgment in the absence of the parties, and adjourned the case. Upon resuming, Mr Gillies did not appear, and the Magistrate adjourned the Court for half an hour, and summoned Mr Gillies to appear. Upon resuming again. Mr Gillies was still absent. The Magistrate adjourned the case until August 19th, when Mr Gillies will be summoned to appear.
