THE GRAND. HAROLD LOCKWOOD IN “LEND ME YOUR NAME. - ” Ak cast of well known players surrounds Harold Lockwood in his latest Metro All-Star Series picture, “Lend Me Your Name,” a farce comedy derived from Francis Perry Elliott’s popular novel, to be shown at the Grand Theatre to-night. The leading feminine role is portrayed by Pauline Curley, who was Mr Lockwood’s leading woman in “The Square Deceiver,” £fid “The Landloper.’? Miss Curley has done • sonfe exceptionally fine work in her appearances with Mr Lockwood. Bessie Eyton: is cast for the leading character part—a fierytempered wife. Local film followers will remember Miss Eyton as'one of the principals in “The Crisis” and in “The Spoilers.” Bert Starkey, the “spider” in the serial, “The Fatal Ring,” and a prominent figure in support of Mr Lockwood in “Broadway* Bill,” and “The Landloper,” plays Dr. Dinger, an eccentric brain specialist, while Stanton Heck, who was also seen in “Broadway Bill’ and “The Landloper,” impersonates an English nobleman of the cartoon ' vaiery. Peggy Provost, as Phyllis, one of the leaders at a school of fine arts, and Harry de Roy, in the role of Smithers, "an unusual man-servant, round out the cast. The supports are excellent and include the Co-Ope-rative Weekly, “Our ’ Egypt of the South West,” educational scenic, and a capital Christie cemedy entitled “More Haste Less Speed.” The management of The Grand announce that until further notice no matinees will be given on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. Matinees will be given on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

EYERYBODY’S. This evening another strong attraction will be presented when two big star pictures will be screened. June Caprice will appear in William Fox’s dramatc feature entitled “Blue Eyed Mary,” a picture of mystery,, romance, tears and smiles. The other attraction will be “A Parisian Romance,” starring Cooper Cliffe and Dorothy Green, both new picture Stars to Wanganui. The supporting pictures include Fox’s latest Gazette. Reserves may be secured at Upton’s.
