NEW TORE, July 6. It is reported that R34 is proceeding under her own power to Chatham. The dirigible is being trailed by the Unitea States 5 destroyer Bancroft. HANDLEY PAGE MACHINE’S PLIGHT. HARBOUR GRACE (Newfoundland), July 4. A Handley Page machine has started for Atlantic City. THE MACHINE COMES DOWN. HALIFAX, July 5. A Handley Page machine, en route from Newfoundland to New York, was forced to descend at Parrsborough (Nova Scotia), owing to engine trouble. The machine was damaged amd unable to proceed. A message from Canao states: R34 reports all well.
