News from Bolshevist sources, announcing the capture of Perm, reveals that Koltchak has not yet recovered from his reverse. On the other hand, Deniken continues a vigorous northward course, largely owing to British equipment and tanks, the latter greatly contributing to the success, badly scaring the inferior Bolshevik troops, and compelling the abandonment of successive positions. General Ironside has made a further advance of five miles along the Dvina. Trotsky telegraphed to Bela Kun that the British have forwarded military equipment for 100,000 men, with 230 guns and 150 tanks, and that Canada has furnished 300,000 military uniforms.
