AMUSEMENTS & MEETINGS.
THE GRAND. Geraldine Farrar makes her first appearance in Goldwyn pictures, the play chosen for her being “The Turn of tire Wheel,” by Tex Charwate, to be screened at tire Grand this evening. “The Turn of the Wheel” affords her a role replete with splendid dramatic opportunities. An American critic says of this famous star; “Geraldine Farrar stands for all that we love. Her wonderful career, beginning with her arrival in Europe, untried, and unknown, her subsequent 1 triumphant debut, and the night she returned and took New York by storm—in all this the world sees tho pluck and art of a girl surmounting tremendous obstacles.” The supporting films are “The House of Hate” (No. 6) and the Gaumont Graphic. EVERYBODY’S THEATRE. Dustin Farnum is the big attraction at Everybody’s Theatre to-night, when he appears on the screen in William Fox’s latest photo-play, “Durand of the Bad Lands,” and in every part of the tale, he shows his master-acting to fine effect.
