SIX THOUSAND POUNDS FOR NOTHING.
The chances of winning prizes valued at ,£6300 will not be available to the public after 30th June. This is the date of the closing of the Trentham Dominion Scholarships Art Union, which offers a first prize valued at £IOOO, and 170 others mating up the total given. Certainly it would be hard to find a better investment for odd shillings than the Art Union that offers such attractive winnings. The splendid object of this fund, which is to educate the children of New Zealand’s fallen heroes, is another inducement to contribute will-
ingly and liberally. The tickets are on sale all over New Zealand, or can be obtained direct from the secretary, P.O. Box 281, Wellington. In writing for tickets, stamped, addressed envelopes should be included. Hie secretory points out that the time is getting very short, and those who are selling tickets should do their utmost to make the greatest possible sales during the final month. “Digger’s” children are worth the effort.
