Gang Awa made all the running till Entering the straight, when Gwynne And Master Webster took the lead, the latter winning comfortably by Sour lengths. Time, 4.50 3-5. Huia Handicap—Kilrush 1, Bagdad S, Potentiality 3. Scratched; Marquetear, Play Off, and George. Kflrnsh and Bagdad led throughout, Kilrush winning comfortably by four lengths. Arrowfield dislodged his rider. Time, 1.44. Stewards’—Old Gold 1, March On 2. Tari 3. Scratched; Black Mark and May Morn. Won by half a length. Tari held the lead from the start fall well into the straight, when March On and Old Gold challenged, the latter eventually winning by half a length. Time, 1.29 2-5. Rahtii .Handicap—Astinome 1, Oratress 2, Matatua 3. Scratched: Old Gold and Idle Talk. The winner led all tie way and won by a length and a half, a length between second and third. Time, 1.15 1-5. Ohaa Hack Welter-Pretty Bobbie X, Justification 2, White Ranger 3. AH started. A fine race, won by a head. Time, 1.45. Final Hack Scurry—Dainty Step X, Californian 2, Moutoa Boy 3.
