Evidence at the treason trial of six natives of Minia revealed that they had constituted themselves a committee of the nation to substitute Turkish for British rule, assumed supreme authority, and sanction a plot to kill all the British. SENTENCED TO DEATH. Received June 5, 1.20 p.m. LONDON. June 4. Military courts in Egypt are dealing with any concerned in the recent rioting. Four have been sentenced to death, and many others heavily punished.
