Peter Cook has also expressed a wish to meet O’Neill, whilst another boxer of note, “Battler” Nelson, is looking for ago with the State colliery lad; Local fans , will not hear'of O’Neill'being beaten by any lad of his own weight in the Dominion, and rumour has it that there are lots of money to support this opinion. As a result of all this talk, the -West Coast Boxing Association is in the boom. The local association certainly deseryes every cerdit for the way it has fostered the sport during the last four years, and a meeting between O’Neill and James under the auspices 'of the , local association will be a fitting reward for the very capable manner in which the association has handled refcent contests.
