ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES

CHRISTCHURCH ACCIDENTS—ONE FATAL. (Per United Press’Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 2. A man named James Cullen, employed by the Railway Department, wai admitted to the hospital yesterday suffeering from severe injuries to his head. Cullen, who resides at Little River, was returning from work on Saturday evening on a ganger’s trolley when a train overtook hi mand clashed into the trolley. He regained consciousness this morning. A motor car accident yesterday at Waikari resulted in the death of a child aged three, named Hepzibah Kennedy. No details arc available, except that deceased was one of a party in a car driven by her father, and was killed by the car overturning.

CHILD SERIOUSLY INJURED BY MOTOR. (Per United Press Association.) NAPIER. Juno 2. Another motor accident occurred to-day. Jack Fox, aged four years, .son of Conductor Fox. of the City Band, was run over by a motor-car on the Marine Parade. His thigh and skull were fractured, and he is in hospital in a serious state.
