I BEG to offer myself as a Candidate for Councillor on the Borough Council, and I am sure that my pjast four years’ sendee on the Council vjarrant my premising that if elected I shall continue to support a. progressive policy ns heretofore. Sanitary affairs ate how in a much more satisfactory state than when I took over the Chairmanship of the Sanitation Committee and we are daily increasing its efficiency. I have for years advocated converting Laird's Park into a Sports Ground for Wanganui, and if elected will, I think, see this work done in time for next season. I think the Building of Workers’ Cottages quite a necessity, and, will do all in my power to further this movement, A. A. GOWER. OLD BOYS’ FOOTBALL CLUB.
