PEACE DELAYS. WILSON SAYS HASTE IMPOSSIBLE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association Received April 2, 11.30 a.m. PARIS, April 1. • President Wilson explains that he is ■willing to accept his share of responsibility for peace delays. The magnitude of the, issues made greater haste impossible. Mr Hughes, at a banquet, criticised the delays, insisting on the necessity of net allowing Germany ever to be able to repeat the acts of 1914.
