HIS MAJESTY’S, The World feature, “The Beautiful Mrs Reynolds,” now showing at His Majesty's Theatre, tells a most romantic story in American history, the story of one of the bitterest feuds'ever recorded. It is a fact all through, and needs only to be fact to be entirely engrossing. The cast is exceptional, and .is Jed by June Elvidge as Mrs .Reynolds. Carlyle Blackwell plays Captain Hamilton, and Arthur Ashley is Major Bun - , in addition to which Evelyn Greeley has an important role. “Baimsfather’s Cartoons” and the Topical Budget are also included. The programme will be shown again, tonight. PICTURES - AND VAUDEVILLE. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next patrons at His Majesty's will hare the pleasure of witnessing one of the finest shows yet placed before a Wanganui audience. In conjunction with a very fine picture programme three clover vaudeville turns will be placed on the boards. Colin and John Campbell as con ertina duetists, stand alone. They arc past masters in the technique of their instruments, and their choice of music covers a wide range and is well selected. Boy Bonham, the world’s greatest child contortionist and acrobat, is simply marvellous. Last, but not least, on the bill are Dozay and Doura, Chinese acrobats, late of the Five Munch uniats. Patrons should not miss this splendid programme. Prices, 2s and 1?; 6d extra for booking. VISIT OF WORLD'S STAR ARTIST. ANTONIA DOLORES AT HIS MAJESTY’S. That most celebrated of all French sopranos, in fact in the world, Mademoiselle Antonia Dolores, will visit this town on Thursday next, March 6th, and will give one concert i* His Majesty’s Theatre. Thie great artist comes nere in the zenith of her wonderful powers, and fresh from her triumphs in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, in Australia. The programme that Mdlle. Dolores has chosen for this town will assuredly appeal to all sections of the community, for it comprises gems of the musical art from the old masters up to and including the modern school—classical and popular. The Melbourne Argus referring to Mdlle. Dolores recent appearance there, stated: The distinguished vocalist completely her hearers with a charm of style, and a delicacy of vocalisation which is all her own, ” The pianist is Mr Harold Smith, who is alto heard in solos. Seats can be booked at H. I. Jones and Son, while concessions are also announced to students and schools, particulars of whibh are obtainable at the -box office. ============
