McFarlane, Atkinson, London (sk.); Foster, Hoggard, Tifley, Rankin (sk.). JUNIOR SHIELD. Wanganui teams against Gonville, ’Saturday next. At Gonville.—-Bartlett, P. Lewis, Gilmore, McNiven (sk); Caiman, Fairbarn, F. Spriggens, Olsen (sk); C. P. Brown, Tennent, Haworth, Eidd (sk). At Wanganui.—Price, Jacobs, Stone, S. Addenbrooke (sk); Greenwood, Shewan, Thorp, Gower (sk); Taylor, Swanger, F. Anderson, Wall (sk). Two visiting teams from the Maitai Club (Nelson) met two Wanganui rinks yesterday morning. After a close and interesting contest the visitors won by 4 points. Tbe visitors were very pleased with tbe green, which was very keen and played well. Following are the scores;— Stallard, Mercer, Simpson, Hockey (s.) 18 v. Grower, S. Addenbrook, Bates, and London ,s.) 19. Calder, Shone, Brundell, Allen (s.) 28 v. Tennent, Stone, Beswick, Rankin (s.) 23.
