MOTOR-CAR FATALITY.

A PATEA FARMER KILLED. {Per United Prees Association.) HAWERA, February 27. Frederick Gustav Bremer (56), married, a farmer near Patea, with his son Harvey and Mrs and Mrs Ayres, were in a ear coming to Hawera to-day, and when near the town either a tyre burst or an axle broke, and the car overturned. Bremer senior sustained serious injuries, being pinned beneath the car. He was removed to Nurse White’s hospital, where he succumbed during the afternoon. The other occupants escaped with a shaking.
