* FEATHEESTON EESOI.'iTiWSis CAETEETON, Number 5. The following resolution was passed at a public meeting in Featberston on Monday night: “That this public meeting, representative of Featberston and district, strongly urges upon the Government the necessity of very substantially order that the demands for a bold forincreasing the grant for education, in ward policy of Imperial, social, %nd industrial development may be adequately met.” A further resolution was passed.— “That the Featberston School Committee be accorded heavy snpm it- r, j-eas-ing upon the Educational authorities the claim of their area for improved educational facilities, the buildings being inadequate to meet the increased attendance, the surroundings being unsuitable, and the purchase of a new site requiring immediate attention.
