Mrs R. H. McCallum, of 66 Harrison Street, has received word that her son. Private W .R. McCallum, has been admitted to hospital suffering from a severe wound in the thigh. Mrs Howden, 29 St. Hill Street, has received word that her son, Corporal J. A. Howden, has been admitted to hospital in France, suffering from severe wounds in the face. He left with the 9th Reinforcements, and this is the third occasion on which he has been wounded. His friends will hope to hear of a speedy recovery.
