President Wilson has called on the school teachers to devote more time to problems of national life, emphasising that the war is inculcating a new appreciation of life’s aspects and a deeper understanding of the aims l and meaning of democracy. He says: “When the war is over we must apply our acquired wisdom to purging and ennobling the world’s life.”
