GERMANY’S FOOD SUPPLIES.
AMERICA’S EFFORT TO PEEVENT SMUGGLING. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Received October 2, 9.5 a.m. LONDON, October 1. It is reported that Germany, by combining the foods obtained from Russia and Roumania with exports from northern neutrals, hopes to increase + he rations and improve the morale of the people. This has further determined the United States not to contribute food In any way, and also to demand that smuggling in some of the northern neutrals shall be ended.
