The Admiralty report: Naval aircraft dropped eeven tons of explosives on Thursday night on the lock gates at Zeebrugge, the St. Denis-Westrem and Houttane aerodrome, and the Gontrode airship shed. All returned. Sir Douglas Haig reports; Airmen yea-' terday bombed aerodromes at Carnieres, St. Denis-Westrem, and Gontrode with good results. Ten German machines were brought down. One of ours is missing. Sir Douglas reports: Our areoplanes dropped four tons of bombs on aerodromes at Gontrode and Carnieres, also dumps, billets, and railways. Another six tons were dropped at night on similar targets, including the Gontrode aerodrome. Despite a heavy barrage, all returned safely. During raids our flyers used machineguns with' good effect against troops and transport. They brought down fourteen enemy aeroplanes. Three of ours are missing, GERMAN PLOT IN FINLAND Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. COPENHAGEN, September 29. The Altontidnirgen states that a German plan was to start a revolution in Finland, synchronising with the, German offensive at Riga, but it failed, as the leaders in Finland were unable to establish the necessary organisation. There was also -some reaction against German intrigue, the Finns realising that separation from Russia would make Finland dependent on Germany, which would be no real gain.
