RESTRICTING EXPORTS TO SWEDEN AND HOLLAND. Australian N.Z. Cable Association. Received October 1, 8.35 a.m. LONDON, September 30. With the object of making the blockade more rigorous, another proclamation has been issued prohibiting specified exports to Sweden and Holland. '
THE CUMBERLAND DISASTER.
FINDING OF INQUIRY. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Services.) Received October l t 10.15 a.m. SYDNEY, October 1. The Superintendent of Navigation's inquiry into the Joss of the steamer Cumberland resulted in his finding that the damage to the Cumberland was caused by an explosion, but, whether external or internal he is unable to say. The evidence pointed more to the former, but he does not feel justified in giving a definite finding.
