Sir Douglas Halg reports :-r-There have been no, further counter-at-tacks, infantry encounters were confined to patrols. A stjpng enemy party atempting to approach our lines early this morning eastward pf Polygon Wood was caught by artillery, rifle, and machine-gun fire. Many were killed and the survivors were captured. USUAL GERMAN CLAIMS. German official.—We repulsed attacks north-east of Frezenberg and the Menin road.
