PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The usual monthly meeting of the Royal New Zealand Society for the Health of Women and Children wa»s held in the Plunket Nurse room on Tuesday afternoon. Present: Mesdames Gibbons (chair), Bassett, Cameron, Spurdle, Reeve, D'Arcy, Sampson, Neame, Izett, Hine and Blamires. Apologies were received from Mesdames Stevenson, Comyus, Mason, and Miss Parsons. M.INUTKS.—-The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. .MONTHLY REPORT.—'Che report for March showed 303 visits paid to the homes of mothers, GSO consultations at the office (330 adults and 320 babies). During the month there were 01 new cases, while 283 pdevious cases were still under supervision.
REPORT AND BALANCE SHEET.— The annual report and balance sheet were read and approved and adopted.
ANNUAL MEETING.—It was decided to 4iold the annual meeting on Wednesday. 2nd May. WAP BONUS.—It was resolved that Nurse Feutz be given a bonus of ,£5 this year in addition to the 10 per cent war bonus giveii by the society, in recognition of the strenuous work without assistance, and that the secretary be given a wjr bonus of <£3 in addition to the usual .salary for the good work done this vear.
COR R riSPONDENCE.—Minor correspondence v.'as dealt with, and several accounts p". -aed for payment, and this concluded the business of the meeting.
