WAGES OF PIRATES. LONDON, April 9. The Times correspondent at Amsterdam states that Germany pays 10 per cent additional wages to her submarine crews, and also prize-money for a captured ship—s per cent tach to the commander and chief engineer, 15 per cent to the officers, and 25 per cent to the crew. When a ship is torpedoed the commander and ehjef engineer each get 1 per cent, the officers 4 per cent, and the crew 10 per cent. There are special prizes for specially large "bags."
