CABINET CONSIDERATION. (Per United Press Association.** WELLINGTON, April 11. Cabinet considered the trouble to-day, but came to no decision. Another meeting will be held to-morrow. WESTPORT PEOPLE'S ACTION. WESTPORT, April 11. At a large and representative meeting to-night, it was resolved to form a Westport Protection Association, and to send a request that the ActiagPremier or Minister for Mines visit Westport immediately, and confer with the miners on strike, as the Association was strongly of the opinion that the miners were ill-advised in their recent action. The association believed a large section of the miners were ready to return to work.
