GERMAN PLOT IN AMERICA.
CREWS OF INTERNED SHIPS IMPLICATED. \' (Australian and N.Z. Cable Services.) Received March 29, 12.10 p in. NEW YORK, March 28. The Kron Prims Wilhelm p.isoners admitted that bombs were made on thfe interned ship Frederich de Grosse. One witness said the bombs caused the fires on the Allied ships on the high seas. Five arrests of pro-Germans, which were made on March 12. disclosed a far-reaching plot, in which t;.e crews of the Kronpriuz Wilhelm and the Prince Eitel were implicated. The evidence showed that-, articles were smuggled from the ships; on which were messages in invisible writing. It is believed these related to military secrets, and were sent to New York and thence to Mexico, whence they were wirelessed to ,Berlin.
