The Labour Conference is the most important in the history of the movement. it hos been called to discuss after the war Labour problems- Mr Wardle protested against the effort of some supporters of the movement to make a distinction between political aud economic effort. Such a division was suicidal. It was impossible to leave all legislation administration to people who were without the knowledge necessary to protect and ensure the interests of the workers. The war was the one absorbing Imperial problem to-day.
