. Having completed loading her cargo of timber, the barqueutiue Lindstol, which had been in port for several Weeks, sailed for Sydney yesterday. The Arapawa, which arrived here from Ouehunga, via Opunake, yesterday, will probably get away on tne return trip this evening. The Napier Harbour Board is charging an improvement rate on all cargo landed of 9d per ton. Thip amount will be collected hv the shipping companies in addition to the freight at the port where freight is payable. ' H.M.S. Cornwallis, reported as sunk, was a battleship of the Fourth Battle Squadron of the Second Fleet, in the. Duncan class, built in 1901.
