Scratched: Battletide, Tcxsa. Osjand, Sari'o. Mascott, tnd Bell bird. Won by two lengths. Time, 1.2 2-5. Dominion Day Handicap—Rose Pink 1, Bronk Delaval 2, Haumakaka 3. Scratched: Hylatus. Ruatangata, and Glorify. Won by a length. Time, 1.42. Otaki Steeples.— -Kirkby 1, Tauira 2, Silver Monarch 3. Scratched: Mae. Glen Paul, Hound. Time 4.25 2-5. AMBERI,EY MEETING. CHRISTCHURCH, September 25. The Amberley races were run in fine weather before a good attendance. Results:— Jumpers’ Flat.—Crib 1, Sport 2 British Rose 3. Won by three lengths. Time 2.14. Trial Plate.—Fa briquette 1, Golden Prince 2, Hcnriett 3. Won by two lengths. Time, 1.3.
