N.Z. HOSPITAL SHIPS.
(Per United Press Association.! WELLINGTON, November 29. The Governor has received information (bat the hospital ship Maheoo left Hgypt Lr New Zealand on November 2S, and should arrive on 3rd or 4th January- Tbs Imperial Government notify that they greatly appreciate the action of the New Zealand Government in placing both ihn Marama and Msheno unreservedly a* their disposal, and will see that the bast interests of the New Zealand troops an provided for. The Imperial authorities had under consideration a programma whereby two Australian and two Zealand hospital shins will be employed on the Australian and New Zealand ronton respectively. This will not interfere wits the employment of vessels in the Mediterranean. Experience has shown that it is ‘■ssential to have two personnels available for each ship, relieving one another approximately every six months. The Governor has received many appreciative messages regarding the work of the Maheno.
