TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l was one of those privileged to 're present at the Municipal Opera House >n Thursday evening last, when this very mccessful cratoria was presented to a eery large and altogether appreciative in fiance. I feel -me, Sir, that those who were present will agree with me that ;he greatest credit is due to Mr Webb md his worthy band of workers on this rCeadon. I wish to add my testimony 0 the many hundreds who fully appreciitei the splendid interpretation of Hanlel’a great and noble work, and I feci iure that the music-loving public of Wanganui would lie lacking in their duty in rot ventilating their appreciation. Ccniuctor, principal, orchestra, chorus did ;heir work and did it well. Might I make 1 suggestion to Mr Webb that he will see fiis way clear to give a repeat during Obristmas week, when 1 feel sure and certain that he will amain have the helpful resistance cf those who were present on Fhursday evening last—l am, etc., AN APPRECIATIVE UNIT.
