Mr A. 11. Lewis, platoon-commander iu B. Company, National Reserve, was < n Saturday evening farewelled by the company, on whose behalf Major Payne presented him with a case of pice*. Mr Lewis thanked the members, and gave a rousing speech on the necessity of every fit man enlisting. Mr Lewis leaves fn the N.C.O. training camp to-morrow.
