N.Z. WOUNDED IN ENGLAND.

ASSISTANCE WANTED. LONDON, October 22. There are now 4GOO New Zealand wounded in England. The cost of supplying them with the necessary comforts will make great inroads on the funds of the War Contingent Committee, and unless further assistance is immediately received from Now Zealand the committee will find this difficult. In view of the approach of winter and the supply of needed comforts, several thousand pounds are necessary to tide over the next few months.
