YESTERDAY’S STREET COLLECTION , AN EXCELLENT RESULT.' : OYER .£320 OBTAINED. • Yesterday’s street collection in aid.cf funds for Lord Liverpjol’s special appeal for tho British Red Cross Society, was, hpspito ptljtp - , .calls upon the citi>4ns’ jSdSseb/aifll fiifeJuitable climatic conditions, very successful, and over £320 was raised for tho fund. From early in the morning until six in tho evening, the ■ energetic' collectors were at their posts, the lot of some not being improved'by the boisterous wind that was blowing. Yet any discomfort which they may hnre felt was more than compensated for wh»n the collection was counted and the satisfactory result announced. The committee desire to thank each and every one Of the helpers, and also all those who contributed both in money and with luncheon and tea for the collectors. The following is a list of the amounts collected, and there are one or two amounts still to come in;
