Cable advicj has been received by the 3>-.ai cffiio of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company stating that the H.M.S. l»inui, which left Wellington on August 36, baa arrived at London after a good pas-ogo of 41 days. The A. and A. Line advise that the chartered ’ steamer Talnwa (ex the German steamer Wot an) has been fixed to leave New Tort for New Zealand ports on October 30. On account of the slip in the Culebra Cut in the Panama Canal, the Tarawa will come out via the Capo of Good Hope. After discharging cargo at Auckland and Wellington, she will go •on to Hobart and Melbourne.
