CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR SOCIETY.
(Per United Press Association.) i WELLINGTON,. October 19, The Dominion biennial* Conference of the Christian Endeavour. Union was held to-day. It was decided to arrange, if possible, for a visit by Dr., Clark, also to recommend that delegates be sent to Canterbury, Westland and North Otago unions for the purpose of stimulating the Wbrk of those centres. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—President, the Rev. W. Shirer; vice-presidents, the Revs. A. E. Hunt, Richards, White and Pastor Weston; secretary, Mr W. Irvine; treasurer, Mr H. Brookie; executive. Sister Constance, Misa Fuller, Messrs Brabin and Duncan. Resolutions were adopted expressing the hope that the Rev. Dr. F. E. Clark (founder of the Union) would be restored to health; also paying tribute to the noble services of members of the .Christian Endeavour Societies who in the fighting forces and expressing continued loyalty to the Throne, and Empire.
