Qantain Johansen decided to try to make Raglan harbour, and the vessel was within a short distance of the. bar: j when she was struck by a foul wind and driven on a sandbank, where she remains high and dry. The crew, liave landed. It is believed the vessel will re-float. , WELLINGTON, October 20. The schooner Falcon is ashore a milr north of Raglan. She is owned by Easson, Ltd., timber merchants, Wellington, She left here on the 1 2th October in ballast to load timber. She is* valued at A’ 1000, and is not insured.
