FAREWELL TO AOTEA NURSES.
MONDAY AFTERNOON. Tho farewell at homo and equipment tea, which is being given as a send off to the nurses and staff of the Aotea Convalescent Home, will be held in the Druids’ Hal! on Monday afternoon from •i p.ra. till 5 p.m. An excellent musical programme has been arranged, including Mrs Peter Lewis, Messrs George Swan, L. Craig, Claude Suisted, Haydn Reck, and others. Fuller’s Orchestra, under the conductorship of Mr .1. Kersley, have also kindly consented to play several selections during the function. All are cordially invited, and it is suggested that each should bring with her ■ nisn ail article of equipment for the 1 '-m'l he following is a list of the various th ng-. required, all of which will hr acceptable contributions:—Cigarettes Gins), tobacco, pipes, matches, shaving material (razors, strops, soap, etc.), stationery (paper, envelopes,' ink pencils, etc.), boot laces, nail brushes, tooth paste, sweets (in tins), chocolate (plain, in tins), biscuits, jam (tins), honey (tins), draughts, chess, quoits, games of all descriptions, books and magazines, bagatelle board, giamaphnuo and records, Keating’s powder, pepper and salt castors, tray clcths.
