FOOD PRICES AT HOME.
NOT SO HIGH AS ANTICIPATED. Received February i 3', 8.0 a.m. LONDON, February 12. During the debate on food prices, the Right Hon. H. H. Asquith said that retail prices had risen in London 24 per cent, in six months, 23 per cent, in the large towns, and 20%, per cent, in the villages.
