The Ostend station was burnt to the .'ground. ■ All the pilots are safe. Two machines were damaged. Commander Samson commanded the operations. SUCCESSFUL 24 HOUES’ATTACK. GRAHAME WHITE FALLS INTO SEA, BUTTS RESCUED. t v ' v Received February 13, 1.45 p.m. LONDON, February 12. / yhe Admiralty states that the combined aeroplane and seaplane attack lasted 24 hours. /the railway .station at Blankenbergh was damaged and the lines torn up Ih many places. • -Bombs were dropped, on- the gup positions at Middlekirke, also on the power station} and' ohGerman 'mine-sweepers at Zeebrugge, but. the damage here is unknown. No submarines were seen. The attackers encountered heavy snow. _ Flight-Commander Qrahame White fell Into the sea at Nieuport, but a French vessel rescued him; ■ I Although the attacks were exposed to heavy gun fire and mitrailleuses, only two machines were damaged. •
