A hockey match was played this morning between rival University teams, and resulted-Auckland 3, Victoria College (Wellington) 1. For tire winners, Mahruey scored twice and King on’ce, and for Victoria College, G. Spratt scored.

The prizes are well worth competing for, and a good number of entries are expected. Entrance fees which are 2s 6d per couple will be received up till the commencement of the competition.
