MESSRS DALCETY AND CO.’S SALE. Fair yardings of,sheep and cattle came forward for the usual fortnightly sale fit Messrs Dalgety and Co.’s, Ltd., Wanganui East yards. Sheep were easier, but competition was brighter for ewes in lamb. Cattle were dull, with t’ue exception of dairy stock, for which a good demand existed, Pricos up to the time of going to press were as follows: Sheep—P.b English Leicester wethers, 2-ths, 255; ditto ewes, 18s sd; fat lambs, 16s 2d: ewes, mixed ages, in lamb to s.d. rams, 22a 6d; lambs, 13s Id; cull ewes, empty, 5s and 12s. Cattle—Pat cow, X 6; cow in calf, Ml los.
