The second event was a side-car race If. miles. J H. Michael (H.S.A.) won the race C. -Bennington (Triumph) second, and G. K. Brown (Triumph), made fastest time for single cylinder machine. Michael's xrin was particularly meritorious as his side-car tyre nunctured four miles from home. He stoojied and removed the tyre, finishing on the rim.
