SUPREME COURT.
AT WELLINGTON. (Per Uniled Press Association.) WELLINGTON, February 19. At the Supreme Court, Bernard Smith was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment for indecently assaulting a little girl; Thomas Coffey, for attempting an indecent assault, three years; Sydney Hall, on a similar charge, 12 months'; David Menzies, indecent assault live years. The Chief Justice gave warning of his intention to order floggings in future in similar cases. ° °
